The Faith and Family Foundation at Wheatland Farm is thrilled to announce our move to Belle Grey Farm in Upperville, Virginia. This transformational milestone has become the home of the Foundation’s expanded program, Wheatland Equestrian at Belle Grey Farm, continuing its mission of providing inclusive, life-changing equine experiences for riders of all abilities in a family-centered environment.

Thanks to significant growth in therapeutic riding, para-dressage, and traditional equestrian programs, the Foundation has long recognized the need for a larger property to meet rising community demand. Belle Grey Farm offers the wide-open spaces, improved accessibility, and increased capacity needed to welcome more students, accommodate additional horses, and expand programming — all while preserving the peace and beauty of Western Loudoun County.

Program operations began at the Upperville campus on January 5, 2026. “This season marks a remarkable moment of growth and gratitude for all that God has entrusted to The Faith and Family Foundation,” said Muriel Forrest, Executive Director. “Belle Grey Farm gives us the opportunity to welcome more families, support more riders, and further build a place of healing, hope, and community through the transformative power of the horse.”

The Foundation looks forward to inviting families, riders, volunteers, donors, and friends to experience the new property throughout 2026 as new programs and events unfold. Updates will be shared regularly across the organization’s website and social media platforms.

New Rider Assessments

As we open this new chapter, we warmly welcome ALL new students --those with disabilities and those without--and their families, to begin their equestrian experience with us.

Every rider’s story at Wheatland Equestrian begins with a New Student Assessment — a private, 15-minute introduction designed exclusively for new riders. During this visit, we take the time to learn about your experience, goals, and comfort level, and thoughtfully determine the most appropriate lesson program and horse for you.

To book your assessment, please click on the link below and register with us, create your student portal password, navigate to "appointments" and select an appointment for "Assessments". You can then scroll to the date offered and select your appointment time.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early and wait in the foyer so we may greet you and begin promptly.
