About the Tournament
​Founded in 2017, the Johnny Forrest Golf Tournament honors the life and legacy of Johnny Forrest — whose extraordinary courage, joy, and humility continue to inspire our community.
Each year, golfers, sponsors, and supporters gather for a day of excellence, camaraderie, and impact — raising critical funds for The Faith and Family Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that funds Wheatland Equestrian’s therapeutic riding, para-equestrian, family outreach, and vocational programs.
Every swing makes a difference.
Johnny's Legacy Lives On
Johnny was born with a rare metabolic disorder and gradually lost the ability to walk, talk, see, and hear. Yet through every challenge, he radiated joy.
He loved:
